Hello! I'm Joye and I'm so glad you're here. I believe that God created us to be in relationships with each other and there is nothing I love more than fostering relationships. This is my heart for photography. I want to KNOW you, to build a FRIENDSHIP with you, and to be MORE than a vendor. I'm pretty much an open book and I love to share as much as I love to learn. I've been photographing people + their stories for the last 3 years and I feel it is my true passion + purpose.

More About me!
Anyone who knows me well knows that I thrive on people. I'm the type of person who can go a whole day jumping from one activity to the next. The best days are when I have every part of my day filled. I value being productive, working hard, and going after what you want. Every day is a gift, and we cant waste it. It is a blessing to get to live this life, and I want to make the most of every day.
As you read earlier I am a full time college student! I am currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Lancaster Bible College. I've fallen in love with the people + professors here and I'm so grateful for this experience. I plan to use the degree to either help me further my photography to full-time or to start another business. I would absolutely love to one day open a cafe, a creative space, or a wedding venue!!

I unashamedly love love. I'm all about that crazy, stupid love that you see in the movies. More importantly though, I want to capture your connection + your story as it is unique to you. I want you to see more than just pretty pictures, but rather, to FEEL that connection. I want you to look at your photos and see the authenticity, the imperfect, the intimacy, the safety, the passion, and the blessing it is to love others + to be loved.

To add to that I love my family, all things white, all things gold, and any song by Maverick City, Lauv, or Taylor Swift.
I am also a big fan of anything aesthetic and I love designing and decorating. I can't wait until I have a home of my own to decorate. Im currently obsessed with the white, warm, bohemian vibe. I also love taking old or unusable things and restoring them. I would love to fix up an old house or building and turn it into a home or event venue.
As you can probably tell, I love summer. I mean who doesn't right?! But I thrive in warm weather. Summer means the BEST sunsets, MANY beach trips, hiking ADVENTURES, and the ULTIMATE photo sessions. Photoshoots in the summer are hands down my favorite. Barefoot, long dresses, tan skin, golden hour, water throwing, and green everything. I mean what else could you ask for?! Don't get me wrong, I love all the seasons (fall is a close second), but summer is where it's at for me.

I grew up in a Christian household and I went to house church for my whole childhood. I only started to find my own faith + relationship with God in high school when I started attending youth group at MBIC. I currently go to Ephrata Comnunity Church and I attend C4 at Calvary Church on Tuesdays.
I strive to put Christ first in my business and in everything I do. Sometimes it is hard to fathom the sacrifice that he made on the cross, so that I could live and have a relationship with the Father. I love the Lord, wholeheartedly and I just want to honor him and give him all the glory. I am blessed by this business and my amazing couples + clients, but none of it would be possible without God's faithfulness to me.
I have had the honor of being a part of so many Christ-centered weddings. I've witnessed feet washing, worship, prayer, and many more public declarations of faith, and they have been my favorite part of weddings. There is nothing better than meeting and connecting with couples who love the Lord!!

Do everything in love
I would love to become a destination wedding photographer or any type of photographer that allows me to see the world! This picture was taken in the Grand Tetons, Wyoming and I would love to shoot a wedding there! I've been out of the U.S. 3 times, but I would love to travel internationally for photography!
